Wakodahatchee Wetlands

This morning we trekked just a short distance away from home to visit the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Funny enough this place has been around for a few years now and we're just now making time to visit. What a treat!!! There was an abundance of wildlife: all types of birds - egret, heron, thrashers, warbler, grebe, shrike... also, fish, turtles, and the best sight a pair of baby alligators. This is definitely a spot to take visitors, family, and yourself for a nice relaxing walk down the boardwalks that meander through this wetland. Two thumbs up!
