Olas Perfectas

Back in the USA, after a very enjoyable surf trip to Nicaragua with 4 other buddies, I'm feeling some withdraw. We scored perfect waves for 7 days straight with one session double-overhead + with offshore winds. So much to write about, but not sure I'm going to give all the details. Instead, I'll be posting a album with a bunch of photos to tell much of the story.
Thank you to God for keeping us all safe, giving us perfect waves, and giving us a chance to meet and enjoy the beautiful people of Nicaragua. I'll be back...

Well this could be the last post for a while, or until I magically get cell reception in Nicaragua.

Where I've Been Map

Having the travel bug and leaving for Nicaragua in a couple of days, I thought I'd post this cool mashup. I'll be looking forward to checking off another country on this map in efforts to see as much of the world as possible.

7 Years!

No 7 year itch here...

Today we celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. Yeah we both took a few hours and did some work, but otherwise enjoyed sushi and cuban dessert and some quiet time together.

Thanks to you who called and left us kind messages. We left the cell phones behind and escaped our offices.

(Doc, we still think this is one of our favorite photos!)

Wakodahatchee Wetlands

This morning we trekked just a short distance away from home to visit the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Funny enough this place has been around for a few years now and we're just now making time to visit. What a treat!!! There was an abundance of wildlife: all types of birds - egret, heron, thrashers, warbler, grebe, shrike... also, fish, turtles, and the best sight a pair of baby alligators. This is definitely a spot to take visitors, family, and yourself for a nice relaxing walk down the boardwalks that meander through this wetland. Two thumbs up!

Wow... only 9 more days until a view like this becomes a reality. No computers or monitors in sight.
